Stacking the Shelves (1)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews.
"Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!"
I decided to support Tynga's meme because she is a fellow Canadian book blogger! :)

Here's my hoard for the week! :)

For Review:
Changeling by Philippa Gregory
Big thanks to Goodreads and Simon & Schuster Canada!!
Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale
Big thanks to Goodreads and Bloomsbury!!

Bought:
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

Book Sales:
I found these two for $5.00 each at Chapters!

I found these three at a local library fundraiser! :) They were $2.00 each, even the large hardcover by Stephen King! I bought them as gifts for my Dad (he loves Stephen King's work), my brother, and my cousin (who adores The Outsiders)! This edition of The Philosopher's Stone is the one with the brown haired/bearded wizard on the back. I'm not sure if this was a mistake, as they replaced it later with a silver haired Dumbledore, but I believe this edition is worth more...? Interesting, at least! :)
Cell by Stephen King

The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton

Gifted:
My Mama bought this for me! Thanks Mama! :)
Ascend by Amanda Hocking

I'm super excited to dig into these!!
What did you get this week?? Leave me links below!

  1. Great book haul! I'm about 80 pages from finishing The Immortal Rules and have my blog tour post on Tuesday for it, so I'd better get reading! :P
It's amazing, by the way - I can tell you it's going to be a five star!

    Happy reading!

  2. Love the books you got this week. I haven't read a Stephen King novel in a long time and cell looks interesting.

  3. I have to get Ascend too! Alysson's Immortal Series was good at first but I wasn't a big fan when it ended.
